Welcome
IPN-Dharma AI Lab
This is an IPN CIC - DHARMA initiative to provide an Artificial Intelligence Laboratory to motivate researchers, professors and students to take advantage of the courses, resources and tools of the main technology platforms of the industry in the areas of Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things with the purpose of generating a practical experience through a learning model between peers and by objectives.
Level 2: Contextual Knowledge
Applied AI Professional
This program is designed to provide you with a solid understanding of AI, its applications and use cases, enabling you to apply pre-built AI to your products and solutions.
With no prior knowledge or prior programming experience, you'll learn to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications, create AI-driven chatbots, all while developing critical Python skills. You will also learn about IBM Watson AI services and APIs.
This program is a continuation of the AI Foundations program, so it is recommended that you have taken it prior to taking this program.

Courses in this program
1) Python for Data Science and AI
This is an introductory Python course for artificial intelligence, data science, and general programming that will quickly take you from scratch to programming in Python in a matter of hours and give you an idea of how to start working with data in Python.
Upon completion, you will be able to write your own Python scripts and perform basic hands-on data analysis using our Jupyter-based lab environment. You'll also be able to create your own data science projects and collaborate with other data scientists using IBM Watson Studio.

2) AI applications with Watson APIs
In this course, you will learn how to create queries in Discovery, which allows you to display responses and patterns from large data repositories. Next, you will learn how to use Discovery to extract information from a set of reviews. Then, to bring that data to life, Discovery will integrate with other Watson services to create a chatbot that can report on the best hotels in a given US city. By using these Watson services, you'll add more layers of analytics to help find the best hotel.
Among the services to use are Assistant, Discovery, Tone Analyzer and Personal Insights.

3) Introduction to Computer Vision with Watson and OpenCV
In this introductory course, you will learn about computer vision and its various applications in many industries. As part of this course you will use Python, Watson AI and OpenCV to process images and interact with image classification models. You will also create, train, and test your own custom image classifiers.
This is a hands-on course and involves several labs and exercises. At the end of the course, you will create your own computer vision web application and deploy it to the cloud.
